Will StrongholdThe Mundane WorldWill Stronghold is a fourteen year old boy who has two very famous parents; The Commander and Jetstream. They are the world’s best superheroes. The Call To AdventureWill is now old enough to go to Sky High, the school where both his parents learned how to be superheroes. There’s only one problem-he doesn’t have any superpowers himself. Crossing The ThresholdWill goes to school and has to go through Power Placement, where Coach Boomer decides whether the students are heroes or sidekicks. Will has to admit to his lack of powers and is placed in the sidekick program, otherwise known as “hero support.” The Path of TrialsWill’s first trial is telling his parents that he is in the sidekick program because he doesn’t have any powers and may never get them. His parents are supportive, yet disappointed. Will also has to deal with Warren Peace, his enemy in the school. Will’s dad put Warren’s dad in jail and Warren has a grudge against Will. Warren and Will get into a fight and Will’s super-strength finally emerges. Later on, Will and Warren are paired together in a “Save the Citizen” game. They reluctantly work together to become the first freshman to ever win “Save the Citizen” in Sky High’s history. Will starts to get caught up with all the heroes and starts to forget about his sidekick friends, especially his best friend Layla. Gwen, one of the most popular heroes in school, takes a liking to Will and asks him to the homecoming dance. What Will doesn’t know is that Gwen is his dad’s nemesis and has an evil plan to take all the superheroes and turn them into babies. She then will raise them all up to be super villains instead of heroes. After discovering that he can fly, Will stops Gwen and with the help of his sidekick friends, saves the school. He makes up with Layla and becomes friends with Warren Peace. Master of Two WorldsWill now realizes that it’s not good to get caught up in popularity and definitely not good to take your friends for granted. He also learns that his friends that don’t have incredible powers like super-strength or flight can be more helpful and aren’t just hero support. They’re heroes themselves.
